Bite the Big Apple - episode #166

Bite the Big Apple #166

“No, Bitch, I’m yelling at you!
” ~ Tawni Michelle

We have the honor of welcoming Tawni Michelle as a guest to her first podcast episode. I came across Tawni’s TikTok account, actually her b/u account, a few days after our episode with Dr. Carson had posted… so toxic masculinity was still strongly on my mind.

Now, I get that the use of the phrase “toxic masculinity” has become trite in much of its use—however, Dr. Carson and Tawni pinpoint the exactness of why this term exists—and they both share from very personal experiences.

I shared her account with Brother Marc-and he, too, was intrigued and supported inviting Tawni to MO… as we hoped, she brought it!

We get right into the responsibilities of men to be actionable and allies in healing misogyny; to not be complacent. Yes, men, we are being challenged with the changing of time and consciousness. And rightly so.

This episode does hit some very personal real-world examples of sexual abuse… Moped Outlaws encourages you to take deep breaths if you need to, and grab on to this ride with Tawni.

Lastly, it isn’t all heavy—there’s dancing and creativity, light and love—along with the healing lessons for us humans.
